Mrs. Shittu
Environmental science and geography teacher, Awka
- 🇳🇬 Awka, Anambra, Nigeria
- Awka Public School
- 1978 to 1987
- English, Yoruba, Spanish
I taught environmental science at Awka Public School in Awka from 1978 to 1987. Most days I taught primary school children, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Shittu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
