Mrs. Shiferaw
Taught mathematics at Orchid Middle School
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Orchid Middle School
- 1987 to 2011
- English, Amharic
For 24 years I was the mathematics teacher at Orchid Middle School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Shiferaw: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
