I teach mathematics at Highland Secondary School in Iztapalapa since 1981. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Over the years I've had 1,260 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Serrano
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Serrano: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
