I taught religious studies at Brookfield Boys' School in Istanbul from 1985 to 2008. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
