I taught music at Redwood Public School in Essen from 1978 to 1989. Most days I taught Year 7, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
