Mrs. Sasaki

28 years teaching geography in Sapporo

  • 🇯🇵 Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan
  • Unity Secondary School
  • Since 1985
  • Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 41 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mrs. Sasaki

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Sasaki: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
