Mrs. Sarı
20 years teaching music in İzmir
- 🇹🇷 İzmir, İzmir, Türkiye
- Parkside Public School
- Since 1979
- English, Turkish
For 47 years I have been the music teacher at Parkside Public School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Sarı
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Sarı: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me music in 2015 at Parkside Public School. I still remember the rainy sports day.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
