Mrs. Santiago
30 years teaching geography in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Academy
- 1981 to 1998
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Santiago
If you were in my Grade 4 class, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.

You taught me geography in 2005 at Oakland Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

You taught me geography in 2016 at Oakland Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
