Mrs. Santana
Early years and geography teacher, Rio de Janeiro
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Rio de Janeiro Public School
- 1999 to 2017
- English, Portuguese
For 18 years I was the early years teacher at Rio de Janeiro Public School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Santana
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Santana: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
