Mrs. Samarasinghe
Retired computer science teacher from Galle Girls' School
- 🇱🇰 Galle, Southern, Sri Lanka
- 2004 to 2023
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Samarasinghe
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Samarasinghe: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
