Mrs. Samarasinghe
Teacher at Oakwood Grammar School, loves art
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Oakwood Grammar School
- 1980 to 2011
- English, Sinhala
I taught art at Oakwood Grammar School in Colombo from 1980 to 2011. Most days I taught Year 9, and I learned every name in the first week.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Samarasinghe
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Samarasinghe: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
