Mrs. Salim
32 years teaching biology in Mbarara
- 🇺🇬 Mbarara, Western Region, Uganda
- Northside High School
- Since 2001
- English, Swahili
For 25 years I have been the biology teacher at Northside High School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
More about Mrs. Salim
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Salim: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
