Mrs. Salazar

For nine years I was the special education teacher at Austin Grammar School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Salazar
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Salazar: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
