Mrs. Sakamoto
Retired English literature teacher from Setagaya Public School
- 🇯🇵 Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan
- Setagaya Public School
- 2000 to 2020
- Japanese, English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mrs. Sakamoto
If you were in my Grade 4 class, you probably remember the last day before the summer holidays.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Sakamoto: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
