I taught biology at Puebla Public School in Puebla from 1981 to 1994. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Rojas: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
