I taught biology and history at Laredo Secondary School, Laredo. My door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Rogers
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Rogers: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
