Mrs. Rodríguez
English literature and Spanish teacher, Xalapa
- 🇲🇽 Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico
- Xalapa High School
- 1981 to 2000
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mrs. Rodríguez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Rodríguez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me English literature in 2018 at Xalapa High School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
