I teach early years at Cairns Girls' School in Cairns since 2000. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 1,400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
