Mrs. Rivera
Teacher at Bakersfield Secondary School, loves geography
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Bakersfield Secondary School
- Since 1979
- English, Filipino
I teach geography at Bakersfield Secondary School in Bakersfield since 1979. Most days I teach first-year students, and I learn every name in the first week.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Rivera
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Rivera: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your first-year students class in 1988. You believed I could do it before I did!
