Mrs. Rathnayake
Spanish teacher at Jaffna Middle School, 1990 to 2014
- 🇱🇰 Jaffna, Northern, Sri Lanka
- Jaffna Middle School
- 1990 to 2014
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Thank you for stopping by.

I failed Spanish twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you! Greetings from Leeds.

You taught me Spanish in 2002 at Jaffna Middle School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake. Truly.
