Mrs. Rashid
History teacher at Dhaka Academy, Since 1990
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Academy
- Since 1990
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 36 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Rashid
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Rashid: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
