I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 36 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Ramadhan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Ramadhan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
