Mrs. Rahman

I taught history at Hillcrest Technical College in Howrah from 1992 to 2019. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,110 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Rahman
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Rahman: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
