Mrs. Pruitt
Teacher at Sacramento Technical College, loves home economics
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Sacramento Technical College
- 2017 to 2025
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Pruitt
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Pruitt: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me home economics in 2023 at Sacramento Technical College. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
