Mrs. Polat
Spanish and French teacher, Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Since 2013
- English, Turkish
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mrs. Polat
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Polat: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
