Mrs. Perry
English literature and drama teacher, Oakland

I taught English literature and drama at Unity Technical College, Oakland. I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 840 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

You taught me English literature in 1988 at Unity Technical College. I still remember the long bus ride home. Truly.
