Mrs. Perkins

History and economics teacher, Nottingham

🇬🇧 Nottingham, England, United Kingdom
Nottingham Technical College
1993 to 2019
English

I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I had 910 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mrs. Perkins

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

History Economics Spanish

What gifts mean to Mrs. Perkins: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
