Mrs. Perkins
23 years teaching social studies in Derry
- 🇬🇧 Derry, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Derry High School
- 2017 to 2025
- English, French
For eight years I was the social studies teacher at Derry High School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Perkins
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me social studies in 2025 at Derry High School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
