Mrs. Peixoto
24 years teaching environmental science in Rio de Janeiro
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Rio de Janeiro Primary School
- Since 1981
- Portuguese, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 45 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Peixoto: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
