I taught music at Corpus Christi Primary School in Corpus Christi from 2000 to 2008. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Padilla
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
