Mrs. Owens
Economics teacher at Los Angeles Academy, 1989 to 1999

I taught economics at Los Angeles Academy in Los Angeles from 1989 to 1999. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 490 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Owens: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
