Mrs. Otieno
English literature teacher at Parkside Girls' School, Since 2007
- 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Since 2007
- English, Swahili
I teach English literature and music at Parkside Girls' School, Jinja. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,060 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Otieno
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
