Mrs. Ota

Art and chemistry teacher, Setagaya

  • 🇯🇵 Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan
  • Queensway Technical College
  • Since 1999
  • Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I play music while people worked. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mrs. Ota

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Ota: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
