I teach biology at Heritage Girls' School in Accra since 1985. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,110 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Osei: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
