Mrs. Ortiz
14 years teaching Spanish in Newcastle
- 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
- Since 2002
- English
I teach Spanish at Newcastle Academy in Newcastle since 2002. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 890 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Ortiz
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Ortiz: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me Spanish in 2010 at Newcastle Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam

A small gift is a big thank-you.
