Mrs. Ortiz
26 years teaching biology in Kansas City
- 🇺🇸 Kansas City, Missouri, United States
- Kansas City High School
- Since 2001
- English, Spanish
For 25 years I have been the biology teacher at Kansas City High School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 750 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Ortiz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
