Mrs. Ortega
Religious studies and music teacher, Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Ashford Public School
- 2009 to 2021

For twelve years I was the religious studies teacher at Ashford Public School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Ortega: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me religious studies in 2017 at Ashford Public School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly
