I taught mathematics at Frangipani Academy in Dar es Salaam from 1991 to 2006. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
