I taught social studies at Summit Primary School in Saint-Denis from 1996 to 2012. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
