I teach English literature at Guarulhos Grammar School in Guarulhos since 1997. Most days I teach Year 9, and I never turn anyone away. Over the years I've had 1,220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Oliveira: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
