Mrs. Okello
35 years teaching home economics in Mombasa
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Stonebridge Technical College
- 1986 to 2002
- English
For 16 years I was the home economics teacher at Stonebridge Technical College. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mrs. Okello
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Okello: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
