Mrs. Okafor
35 years teaching environmental science in Onitsha
- 🇳🇬 Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria
- Lincoln Secondary School
- 1986 to 2006
- English, Yoruba
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Okafor
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Okafor: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
