Mrs. Ogunleye

History and economics teacher, Lagos

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Academy
  • Since 1978
  • English, Igbo
For 48 years I have been the history teacher at Lagos Academy. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Mrs. Ogunleye

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me history in 1990 at Lagos Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
