I taught drama and agriculture at Baobab Academy, Lagos. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Nwachukwu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
