For 33 years I have been the economics teacher at Bakersfield Grammar School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Norris: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
