I taught music and accounting at Phoenix High School, Johannesburg. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mrs. Nel
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me music in 2023 at Phoenix High School. I still remember the rainy sports day!
