Mrs. Nel
Accounting and mathematics teacher, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Highland Public School
- Since 1997
- English, Afrikaans
I teach accounting at Highland Public School in Johannesburg since 1997. Most days I teach Year 9, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Nel: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
