Mrs. Nel
Taught English literature at Ekurhuleni Academy
- 🇿🇦 Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, South Africa
- Ekurhuleni Academy
- 2012 to 2025
- English, Afrikaans
For 13 years I was the English literature teacher at Ekurhuleni Academy. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
I'm still learning every day.

You taught me English literature in 2018 at Ekurhuleni Academy. I still remember the long bus ride home. Greetings from Lagos.
