I taught English literature at Kilimanjaro Girls' School in Springfield from 1983 to 1992. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 370 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
