Mrs. Nanayakkara
21 years teaching history in Jaffna
- 🇱🇰 Jaffna, Northern, Sri Lanka
- Jaffna Girls' School
- 1993 to 2018
- English, Sinhala
For 25 years I was the history teacher at Jaffna Girls' School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 950 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
